Join the Close Brothers Finance Team as a subject matter expert on historical motor finance commission arrangements, supporting various teams within the business. The ideal candidate will have prior experience ensuring robust financial support, insights, and analytical rigor, with excellent attention to detail.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Support the project team on key finance requirements, including data accuracy, financial calculations, and insights.
* Collaborate with the complaints and Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) teams to ensure clear financial support.
* Update the Motor leadership team on relevant project matters.
* Work with the Financial Controller and Head of FP&A to meet financial reporting and audit standards.
* Assist with ad-hoc analysis and developments released by the FCA.
* Support other team members and the wider Bank team to ensure project success.
* Manage project risks from a financial perspective.
* Ensure compliance with governance and regulatory reporting standards.
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:
* The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
* Skill in translating large data sets into actionable insights.
* Ownership, prioritization, and multitasking skills to meet deadlines.
* Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT WOULD BE A PLUS IF YOU HAVE:
* Background in motor finance commission arrangements.
* Knowledge of the motor finance industry.
