The Opportunity I'm working with a leading robotics company in North London to find an experienced Mechatronics Technician for a 6-month contract. You'll be the hands-on support that enables senior engineers to focus on complex design challenges – assembling, testing, debugging, and documenting robotic systems as part of an important international project. What You'll Be Doing Assembling and building prototype electro-mechanical robotic systems Setting up and running tests on components and systems Debugging electronics and capturing data accurately Maintaining workshop equipment and development space Writing clear documentation for tests and processes Supporting senior engineers so they can focus on design and innovation What You'll Bring Commercial experience as a mechatronics technician or engineer Experience testing and debugging electronics Competence in soldering, including small wires and electronic components Ability to assemble prototype electro-mechanical systems Strong documentation skills A structured approach to problem-solving and data recording Based in London and able to work in the office 5 days a week Nice to have: PCB rework/surface mount experience, Linux command line, scripting/automation, MCAD/ECAD tools What's In It For You Work with genuinely innovative robotics hardware every day Be part of a collaborative, curious engineering team Competitive PAYE rate with potential for extension Contribute to an important international project Mechatronics Technician (Fixed Term - 6 Months) 6-Month Contract | PAYE | London Office | Up to £75,000 pro-rata Interested?
