Occupational Therapist – Adult Community Mental Health

Part‑time post of 18.75 hours per week, fixed‑term 12 months. Salary pro‑rata for part‑time hours.
Key responsibilities
* Care management/key worker responsibility for clients with severe and/or enduring mental health difficulties.
* Specialist occupational therapy assessment and treatment for individuals and groups.
* Recommend safe and independent living solutions.
* Support clients’ recovery through structured day activity, vocational rehabilitation, leisure and employability work.
Qualifications and requirements
* HCPC registration essential.
* Band 5/6 occupational therapist experience in community mental health preferred.
* Excellent communication, negotiation and collaborative clinical style essential.
* Confident core occupational therapy skills.
Professional development and support
* Protected CPD time.
* Supervision from a senior specialist occupational therapist.
* Training access and protected CPD time.
