Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the operations of our care facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior care, including experience in assisted living and nursing home environments. This role requires a compassionate leader who can manage staff effectively while ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents, including those with dementia and Alzheimer's. The Registered Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing care plans, supervising staff, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the daily operations of the care home, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations.
* Develop, implement, and review individual care plans for residents, tailoring services to meet their specific needs.
* Manage staff recruitment, training, and supervision to ensure a high standard of care is maintained.
* Provide leadership and support to the team, fostering a positive working environment that promotes professional development.
* Ensure effective medication administration practices are followed in accordance with policies and procedures.
* Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate comprehensive care services.
* Monitor the quality of care provided and implement improvements as necessary to enhance resident satisfaction.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation related to resident care and staff performance.
Skills
* Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home settings is essential.
* Strong background in nursing or senior care management with a focus on dementia and Alzheimer's care.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a diverse team effectively.
* Knowledge of developing care plans tailored to individual resident needs.
