Job Description
We are seeking a Team Leader to join our dynamic production team. In this role, you will organize, plan, and oversee production activities in the finishing and repair/rework departments, ensuring the achievement of defined objectives in Safety, Quality, and Delivery, while complying with all company regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Organize, plan, and monitor production in the finishing department to meet Safety, Quality, and Delivery targets.
* Continuously improve production processes with a focus on Safety, Quality, and Productivity.
* Manage human resources to ensure adequate staffing, maintain know-how, and develop team skills and competencies.
* Organize, plan, and monitor production in the repair/rework department, acting as the primary contact with tire plants and business units.
* Drive and implement continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as 5S, TPM, 6 Sigma, and SMED.
* Utilize statistical tools and production management software (SAP, Microsoft Office) to analyze performance and identify improvement opportunities.
* Foster team engagement and collaboration to achieve production objectives.
* Demonstrate agility, pragmatism, and resilience in problem‑solving and incident management.
Education
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Languages
* Good command of English, French, and German.
Experience
* Minimum 5 years of management experience in a production environment.
* Knowledge of production processes and supporting functions (logistics, maintenance, etc.).
* Understanding of economics and administrative management.
Skills & Competencies
* Strong proficiency in continuous improvement techniques (5S, TPM, 6 Sigma, SMED).
* Experience with statistical tools and production management software (SAP, Microsoft Office).
* Ability to motivate and unite teams around production goals.
* Excellent communication skills, adaptable to different organizational levels.
* Pragmatic, organized, and methodical with strong planning capabilities.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize information for reporting and problem‑solving.
