We are actively recruiting a junior Sales Engineer to join our Sales team. This is a key role within the sales and support function of the business where you will play a crucial role working closer with Engineering, the customers and the sales teams to ensure Proposal documents, product specifications and equipment orders are managed and processed in a timely manner. Salary c£28,000 - £35000 depending on your level of experience.
The Role?
* You will assess customer applications to understand appropriate product specifications.
* Review incoming orders for correct technical and commercial alignment. Prepare accurate proposals, including technical configurations and cost calculations.
* Enter order details to internal systems to prepare formal order acknowledgments.
* Resolve technical, application-related or delivery concerns.
* Engage with customers to secure drawing approvals for complex orders.
* Ensure all necessary documentation is created for sales support, manufacturing, testing and compliance.
* Maintain an organized database of machine drawings and past designs.
* Provide input for design guide updates and suggest improvements.
* Assist in product testing to validate customer requirements are met.
* Participate in technical enquiry meetings to support the sales process.
What do we need from you?
* A technical qualification in an engineering discipline.
* 2-3 years, experience in an engineering manufacturing environment working ideally within either Sales team or Client support or production engineering team seeking a move into sales support
* Able to manage high-volume customer interactions and complex sales order processes, ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction.
* Demonstrable problem-solving skills.
* High attention to detail.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills applied confidently at all levels.
* Proficient in using related software e.g. Microsoft Office Excel to high level.

* Live within 10 miles of Farnborough
