We are supporting a leading arts university in their search for a permanent Student Data and Management Information (SDMI) Manager. The post holder will be responsible for preparing the university's student data statutory returns for external agencies such as HESA and OfS. Additionally, the role involves providing detailed data analysis and preparing the student academic timetable.
This is a full-time position, starting as soon as possible. The role is based on-site in central London three days a week, with the remainder remote.
The role requires expertise in SITS within the Student and Academic Services (SAS) department, focusing on management information production and ad hoc reporting related to student data.
Main duties include:
* Leading the production and analysis of student statistical returns to external agencies
* Providing data analysis and evaluation to support statutory reporting
* Creating and updating management reports for SMT
* Representing the university at SITS User Group meetings
Candidate requirements:
* Expert knowledge of Tribal SITS:Vision Student Records System, including HESADR reporting, Task Management, Batch Processes, SRL Letters
* Experience in higher education data analysis or SITS roles
* Extensive knowledge of HE statutory returns (HESA Data Futures, HESES, Graduate Outcomes)
* Proficiency in SQL for database interrogation
* Ability to produce clear technical documentation and communicate effectively orally
