Role: FOOTWEAR TECHNOLOGIST
Location: Kettering, UK
Hours: 37.5 hrs per week
Salary: Up to £33,000.00
Interaction Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation. We are seeking a Technologist to meet customer needs, testing products to ensure compliance with legislation, provision of information and presenting at seminars whilst promoting the organisation’s brand.
About The Role
As a Technologist your key responsibilities will include:
Discussing results and new work with customersDrafting reports and responding to customer emailsMeeting with customers and presenting seminars/webinarsWorking to and understanding Quality System and Health & Safety requirementsSupporting technicians’ developmentDelivering SAFT training programmeContributing to writing of technical articles for internal and external publicationInvolvement in customer visits and promotion of servicesAbout You
Essential
Familiar with physical testing techniquesDemonstrated organisation and planning skillsCustomer facing experienceConfident presenterExcellent time management and scheduling skillsGood computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Ability to work on own and as part of a teamHighly motivatedProblem solving and logical thinkingWillingness to travelDesirable
Completion of SAFT course or working towards completionDegree in Maths or ScienceFull, clean driving licenceExperience of direct sales and marketing with exposure to business development tools and techniquesFootwear industry experienceBenefits Include
