Part-Time Accounts AssistantAre you an experienced Accounts Assistant with a knack for Sage Line 50? Our warm and welcoming family-run client based in Great Wakering is looking for someone just like you!
Key Responsibilities:• Invoice Management: Accurately type invoices to customers on a daily basis• Delivery Notes: Use Publisher to print delivery notes after taking incoming orders via telephone• Price Updates: Update and price delivery notes using the existing price list for new products• Document Filing: File documents in both paper format and update ledgers• Software Proficiency: Knowledge of Excel and Word programs is advantageous• Customer Interaction: Handle incoming calls and queries with a confident and friendly telephone manner• Email Management: Manage email enquiries, including electronically sent purchase invoices and customer sales orders• Liaising Skills: Liaise effectively with customers to take accurate telephone orders and with suppliers to place product orders• Payment Processing: Handle manual card payments face-to-face and over the phone, and pay in cheques via a banking app• Administrative Duties: Perform general administrative tasks as required
Requirements:• Proficiency in Sage Line 50: Extensive experience and excellent working knowledge are essential• Reliability and Flexibility: Ability to adapt and provide support during holiday cover periods• Independence and Accuracy: Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously with a high degree of accuracy• Excellent Communication Skills: Confident and friendly telephone manner, and strong liaising skills
Position Details:• Work Schedule: 3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM.• Holiday Coverage: Ability to cover 5 days per week (9:30 AM to 2:30 PM) for three weeks annually.
