Summary of the Role Within RD SNI, the Regional Support Team (RST) focuses on supporting the delivery of support services to establishments across the Region in accordance with wider roles and responsibilities of the DIO enabling functions and business functions. The Asset Manager enables RD SNI to drive continuous improvement across the region in relation to the management of the Assets across the estate, to draft and support our asset management strategy and plans to enable efficient and effective analysis of existing process. The postholder will support through data assurance and collation, the existing asset management systems across the Hard FM and Soft FM contracts. This role will require the post holder to liaise with key stakeholders in Risk Management, Compliance, and Technical sphere, to understand a full holistic picture of Strategic Asset Management. You will be expected manage the provision of all Asset management services to the SNI Region. Key responsibilities of the role: Develop and promote Strategic Asset Management across SNI. Manage all data asset management requirements, being accountable for delivery of the service to all of RD SNI. Support the building of a robust Strategic Asset Management Governance Structure, with effective reporting across the region to provide assurance to the Region that records are accurate. Manage asset changes, ensuring processes are followed to have the contract updated and arranging for relevant site drawings to be updated. Work with the Industry Partners (IP) and DIO colleagues to track any property changes. Act as the Data Steward in relation to asset data. Working with Technical colleagues during project handovers to ensure Cobie data is transferred accurately. Complete assurance checks on newly transferred assets to ensure the correct maintenance regimes have been applied. Ownership of the Asset Control Board and all relevant processes. This post will require travel across the region carrying out varied activities in line with the business needs 1. Asset Management - 70% of time Drive greater Asset Management capability and engage with customers at senior establishment level. Support and facilitate all formal Audit and external reviews to SNI. Accountable for Asset Assurance, ensure communication with site teams to verify that asset data is correct and aligns with the Industry Partners CAFM System and amend where required using the predetermined Property Change Form process. Ensure that the contract is fully updated with identified asset amendments. Assist in project handovers to ensure appropriate data checks linked to the asset are received. Conduct checks to ensure the relevant maintenance regimes are being applied correctly to our assets. Chair the Asset Control Board our regular meeting with our supplier that tracks asset changes. Upskilling and development of Asset Management in house Training and Maintenance of Capability. Improving Customer Relationships in regards Asset Management Monitoring Regional Strategic Asset Management: Strategy, Guidance & Process Leading a Risk Centred Approach to Asset Management. Provide subject matter expert advice. Undertake activity in relation to assuring compliance with policy and standards in line with new contracts. Undertake activity in relation to DIO policy development and coordination of new change initiatives. Liaise with RD Centre of Excellence to align with wider Asset Management activities. 3. Collaboration 10% of time Support the management of IP contracts through collaborative working and engagement at the mandated governance meetings. Promote and engage fully in collaborative working relationships within DIO, with Suppliers, other Regional Delivery areas and wider DIO Stakeholders. Providing a visible presence by ensuring excellent customer communications. Understand the relationship between customers, DIO, and suppliers. Acting as the escalation point for issues raised and troubleshoot significant operations/service delivery issues. 4. Communication - 10% of time Support maintenance of communications and engagement across RD SNI Development of messaging in line with DIO Corporate Approach support to RD SNI in provision of reporting including to DIO SEC, Transformation and Change (TC) and Customer Support Team (CST) Managing development of communications and engagement activities for RD SNI in relation to Asset Management and support of SNI outputs Person specification Desirable: Understanding and complying with statutory, regulatory and professional requirements.
