Your new role We are looking for a Quality Planning Specialist to join our growing Quality function here at RoslinCT. This position will act as a central point of contact within the Quality team for short and long-term workload planning. You will take ownership of the Quality Department Schedule and Daily Quality Schedule. You will be responsible for forecasting capacity needs, coordinating resources, managing scheduling conflicts, and ensuring Quality activities are delivered on time and in line with business and customer expectations. Provide effective line management and manage future growth/development of the Planning team in line with increased Manufacturing capacity and throughput. Forecast staffing needs and identify resource gaps or bottlenecks, escalating to the Head of Quality in a timely manner. Translate project timelines into a deliverable daily workload schedule, ensuring balance and efficiency. Escalate delays or resource issues to senior stakeholders and propose mitigation strategies. Collaborate with Quality Managers to build and maintain a Training Schedule aligned with workload demand. Maintain real-time dashboards tracking resource capacity and delivery performance. Continuously improve planning processes for greater agility and efficiency. Work cross-functionally with Manufacturing, QC, Supply Chain, Facilities, and Project Management to ensure seamless planning and delivery. Lead and contribute to planning meetings, communicating upcoming changes and aligning stakeholders. Liaise with clients and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with contractual and operational timelines. Line manage Planning team members and support their development in line with business growth. Uphold the highest levels of confidentiality and customer service. Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety and GMP requirements. About you Experience working in a cGMP pharmaceutical or biologics manufacturing environment. Background in Manufacturing or Quality scheduling within a life sciences organisation. Competency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Word and Excel. Ability to clearly communicate and coordinate across teams and functions. Outstanding organisational and planning skills. Ability to deliver results under pressure and to deadlines. Skilled communicator with the ability to explain complex information clearly. Adept at stakeholder and customer relationship management. Proven record of effective negotiation and coordination. Detail-oriented with a drive for continuous improvement. Emotional resilience, positivity, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
