The EFL is looking for an organized and detail-oriented Senior People Administrator to work within our People Team. The role will operate out of our Preston office and will support the People Team and wider EFL/EFLitC.
Job Outline
Reporting to the Director of People, the Senior People Administrator will develop and maintain all areas relating to the administration of the people processes within the EFL and EFL in the Community (EFLitC).
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and improve all people administrative processes and operations for both the EFL and EFLitC, ensuring accuracy, user-friendliness, timeliness, and efficiency.
2. Manage and maintain the EFL/EFLitC core HR system, currently People HR, to ensure data accuracy and full utilization.
3. Produce reports from People HR and manipulate data into graphs, dashboards, and summaries to support KPIs.
4. Collaborate with People Officers to create and update templates and processes for HR areas such as recruitment, onboarding, induction, learning & development, employee benefits, case management, changes to terms and conditions, and offboarding.
5. Manage the provision of people policies, maintaining trackers, formatting content, and launching policies via the intranet.
6. Act as SharePoint lead for the People Team, communicating updates and news.
7. Support compliance and audit readiness by maintaining accurate, legally compliant employee records and assisting with data for audits.
8. Maintain accurate notes during meetings.
9. Support team financial administration, including invoice sign-offs and contract renewals, maintaining records.
10. Produce and maintain organizational charts for departments and the wider organization.
11. Monitor the People inbox, answer queries, and direct to relevant team members.
12. Update and manage the People Team diary, coordinate projects, and facilitate communication.
13. Develop and update relevant trackers as part of the team.
14. Work on ad hoc projects, identifying gaps and driving efficiency improvements.
15. Serve as a point of contact for queries, providing signposting as needed.
16. Coordinate mandatory training and probation period tracking, ensuring completion and documentation.

Technical Skills
* Proactive, resourceful, with problem-solving skills.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and 365 applications, especially Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook, and Excel.
* Detail-oriented.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Preferably experience within HR, legal, or finance teams as a senior administrator.
