Senior Healthcare Support Worker (Part‑time)
The role is part of the Emergency Care Unit, comprising a paediatric Emergency Department and an Assessment Unit. The post holder will rotate between the two areas, mainly working in the Paediatric Assessment Unit. You will work 3 x 8 hour 45 minute shifts a week, covering early, late and twilight shifts.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing safe and effective family‑centred care under pressure.
* Communicating effectively with patients, families and the public from birth to adulthood.
* Collaborating with the emergency care team.
Required qualifications and skills:
* Ability to work under pressure and deliver safe care.
* Motivation to learn and pursue ongoing professional development.
* Good communication skills with a diverse population.
