Alto Construct is a privately-owned, civil engineering and groundworks contractor. We undertake a diverse range of civil engineering projects on a nationwide basis.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious individual to join us as an Apprentice Estimator based at our Head Office in Morley, Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from our team, who have vast experience of the industry and develop a career within a dynamic and growing business.
You will receive plenty of on the job training and development, and we will also support you to gain a Level 4 Construction Quantity Surveying Technician Apprenticeship by studying one day a week at Leeds College of Building.
As an Apprentice Estimator you will get involved in every aspect of the tender and bid process, estimating and preparing the cost of civil engineering projects and then on award, ensuring a smooth handover to our onsite teams.
If you have the following qualifications and personal qualities, we would love to hear from you:
* At least 5 GCSE's (grades 5-9), including Maths, English and Science and A Levels in relevant subjects, such as Maths, English or Science (Grades A-C) or BTEC Extended Diploma, Diploma or Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship. Alternative qualifications and relevant experience may also be considered.
* Ambitious and committed to a career in the construction industry.
* A desire to learn and develop.
* Accurate and numerate, with a fabulous attention to detail.
* Good organisation and time management skills.
* Excellent IT skills.
* Confident and articulate.
* Reliable and resilient.

* Salary range £15-22k per annum, dependent on skills and experience.
* 25 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays).

* Working hours – Monday – Friday 08:30 – 17:30
