We are looking for a proactive and organised HR Assistant to join our UK & Ireland HR team for 12 months as maternity leave cover.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about people, enjoys a varied workload, and wants to grow their career in Human Resources.
Working closely with the HR Manager and HR & Payroll Coordinator, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality HR support service across the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations, supporting with payroll amongst other HR administrative tasks.
Main responsibilities include:
* A key requirement of this role is the ability to manage sensitive information in a highly confidential and professional manner at all times
* Provide day to day HR administrative support
* Respond to HR related queries professionally and confidentially
* Maintain accurate and up to date employee records and support HR system updates
* Support with organising recruitment, posting adverts, scheduling interviews and preparation of interview paperwork
* Support with the preparation of payroll
* Prepare onboarding for new starters, arranging inductions and new starter packs
* Alongside the rest of the team, help drive process improvement, standardisation across HR operations and suitable HR projects
What we are looking for:
* Experience in HR administration or strong transferable administrative experience
* Excellent organisation, accuracy, and attention to detail
* Strong communication skills and a positive, people-first approach
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
