Overview
We are looking for a Demonstration Manager to coordinate, plan and execute the demonstrations / installations across all depots, providing support and guidance to the sales team as required.
The ideal candidate will have experience within the agricultural industry, with at least 5 years’ experience working with agricultural machinery. We are looking for an enthusiastic, positive person with a proactive ‘can-do’ attitude and a motivated approach to their work who wishes to work on market leading equipment. Our main franchises are JCB, Amazone, Krone, AVR, Claydon, Larrington and Teagle.
Operational Base
• Ely (relocating to Chatteris summer 2025) or Ramsey (relocating to Chatteris late 2025)
Responsibilities
• Conduct the demonstrations and installations.
• Liaise with the Area Sales Managers (ASM’s) to identify demonstration leads.
• Liaise with the ASM’s to assist in installations.
• Liaise with the Marketing Department providing photographs and videos for marketing purposes.
• Document the leads for demonstration/installations.
• Ensure documentation for demonstrations are correctly completed and returned to the Sales Administrator for start and end of demonstration.
• Conduct detailed inspection of machine prior to and after to highlight any damage sustained during the demonstration.
• Book transport for equipment to be in the right place at the right time.
• Organise with customers and ASM’s the location, timing and needs of the demonstrations.
• Liaise with Service Managers to ensure demonstration equipment is correctly equipped for the demonstration required i.e. hydraulic connections and guidance requirements.
• Liaise with manufacturers Demonstration teams to ensure positive outcomes for all demonstrations.
• Ensure all demonstration machines are maintained and serviced in accordance with manufacturers guidelines including cleanliness both pre and post demo.
• Ensure all manufacturers demonstration records are completed and submitted.
• Ensure all demonstration equipment is fully winterised in accordance with manufacture’s guidelines.
• Liaise with Brand Manager in good time to ensure the correct demonstration machines are ordered to maximise the demonstration effectiveness.
• Assist with the setup and removal of equipment from shows, events and exhibitions.
• Always conduct yourself in a positive manner in accordance with the G&J Peck Ltd Company Handbook.
• Assist with other tasks.
Qualifications and Skills
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working in an agricultural environment
• Competent in use of Microsoft Office including Outlook
• Comprehensive understanding and practical knowledge of guidance systems, ISOBUS and telematics.
• Aptitude to multitask and prioritise and be highly adaptable
• Ability to communicate effectively with personnel at all levels (both written and verbally)
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment as required
• Valid full clean driver’s licence

• Carry out daily maintenance to company vehicle.

Ideal Experience
• Experience in the operation of agricultural machinery and farming practice
• Experience in a sales environment would be an advantage
• Enjoy working in a busy atmosphere and can cope under pressure during busy periods
• The ability to communicate with customers and other work colleagues, with a flexible approach to completing the assigned tasks

• Salary – competitive dependent on experience. Basic working hours 40 hours per week Monday to Friday (plus additional hours to meet seasonal demands)
