Conduct vehicle servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs in line with manufacturer standards.
Complete electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) and diagnostics using specialised tools and software.
Support warranty repairs and work on EV (electric vehicle) repairs where qualified.
Complete accurate digital write-ups and complete job cards efficiently.
Perform hydraulic repairs and other technical tasks as required.
Assist and mentor apprentice Vehicle Technicians, sharing expertise to develop team skills.
Support less experienced colleagues in diagnosing complex issues and achieving repair targets.
Maintain high standards of health and safety throughout all technical activities.Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
Minimum IMI/NVQ Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
Valid UK driving licence with minimal points.
Motivated team player with a 'mentor mindset' and a proactive attitude.
Ability to produce high-quality work in a busy dealership environment.
Experience with diagnostics, vehicle repairs, and customer service.
An active MOT licence is advantageous but not essential.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
