A rewarding opportunity awaits you in Lytchett Minster as GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and empathetic individual to join a local school as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) immediately.
About the Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support students across various subjects and age groups. This role offers a chance to make a meaningful impact on students’ academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in delivering engaging and inclusive classroom activities.
* Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need extra help.
* Monitor and record student progress to inform teaching strategies.
* Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure consistent support.
* Promote a respectful, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational setting is highly desirable.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A patient and supportive approach to working with students.
* A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Education or Childcare is advantageous but not essential.
To work with GSL Education as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA), you should:
* Have the right to work in the UK.
* Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
* Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
