Morgan Hunt are looking for skilled and dependable Plumbers to join a Housing Maintenance team within a large local authority. This role involves working across a variety of residential properties, including void (empty) homes and tenanted properties, delivering high-quality plumbing and maintenance services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out all aspects of plumbing work, including installation, repairs, and maintenance
* Prepare and complete plumbing works in void properties ready for new tenants
* Undertake responsive and planned maintenance in occupied homes
* Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs to a high standard
* Work on systems including pipework, bathrooms, kitchens, and heating systems (basic)
* Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations and health & safety standards
* Provide a professional and customer-focused service in tenanted properties
* Accurately record work completed and materials used
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Plumber, ideally within social housing or maintenance
* Relevant plumbing qualifications (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent)
* Ability to carry out a wide range of plumbing tasks independently
* Full UK driving licence (van provided for work use)
* Good understanding of health and safety practices
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Good communication and customer service skills
