Part Time Accounts Assistant - Truro / Hybrid - £25-28,000 FTE
Trial Balance Consulting has been exclusively reengaged by a longstanding client, an innovative manufacturing business considered a leader in its field. The company seeks to recruit an Accounts Assistant to strengthen its growing finance team. This is a permanent role offering a flexible 25-hour workweek. The employer also permits a hybrid working arrangement (post-training), potentially allowing almost fully remote work.
Working closely with a highly experienced Senior Management Accountant, the successful candidate will play an important role in managing the day-to-day financial transactions. Key responsibilities include:
1. Administration of the company’s online banking systems, including adding and updating beneficiary details
2. Handling accounts payable and acting as the first point of contact for supplier queries
3. Managing the sales ledger, including raising invoices
4. Credit control
5. Producing financial statements
6. Reconciliation of transactions
7. Maintaining and updating the company's bespoke digital accounting platform
8. Monitoring the finance email inbox
9. Assisting with ongoing accounting projects
