What will the role look like?
By becoming a Community Engagement Volunteer, you can support one or more of our community groups across West Leeds. You might also be involved in volunteering at a community festival or event whilst promoting local health and wellbeing campaigns and connecting with community members to inform them of the groups that we deliver.
Responsibilities

* Volunteer at community festivals or events
* Promote local health and wellbeing campaigns
* Connect with community members to inform them of BARCA-Leeds groups
We are looking for someone who is…
* Approachable, personable and friendly
* Non-judgemental, respectful and respects people’s confidentiality
* Ability to connect and listen to people, whilst showing empathy
* Open to learning and enthusiastic about trying new things
* Willing to attend policy training
