We are representing a leading Point-of-Sale (POS) company transforming the way businesses handle payments across the US. We are seeking a Sales Development Manager to join our high-performing commercial team.
Location: East Coast, United States
Salary: Up to $140k base + double OTE + performance bonuses
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, this role is designed for a driven leader who thrives on developing people and building future sales stars. You’ll take ownership of a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and guide them from focusing solely on inbound lead generation to becoming full 360 sales professionals — setting them up to grow and progress within the wider business. This is not just about hitting targets — it’s about building talent, scaling performance, and driving long-term growth.
What You’ll Do
* Lead, coach, and inspire a team of SDRs to exceed pipeline and revenue targets.
* Develop structured training to move SDRs from inbound lead handling to full-cycle sales (prospecting, qualifying, closing).
* Work closely with the Head of Sales on strategy, forecasting, and scaling best practices.
* Create a performance-driven culture with clear career progression paths.
* Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to maximize conversion rates and customer value.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven track record in sales leadership within the payments or SaaS/fintech space (POS experience a plus).
* Strong coaching skills — you know how to elevate SDRs into closers.
* A balance of data-driven decision making and people-first leadership.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and motivational skills.
* Based on the East Coast of the US with flexibility to travel when needed.
