Role: Assistive Technology Team Leader

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: 37 hours per week, 19:00 - 06:00, 4 days on, 4 days off on a rota basis

Worker Type: Onsite Worker

Salary: Grade G – Starting £36,363 (Level 1) rising to £39,152 (Level 4)

Base Location: Harvey Road, NG8 3BB

About the Role

The primary purpose of this role is to provide strong leadership and direction to the Assistive Technology Team. The Team Leader will supervise, motivate and support the team to ensure Assistive Technology services are delivered in line with the KPIs and standards of Nottingham City Council Housing Services.

Working closely with the Nottingham on Call Business Manager and the Assistive Technology Development Manager, you will contribute to developing and implementing innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

As an Assistive Technology Team Leader, you will champion a culture of excellence and outstanding customer service – ensuring every team member understands and delivers high‑quality support to our diverse customer base.


About You

The ideal candidate will have:

* Experience of or skills to fully manage, coach and support teams, preparing, delegating and implementing daily work schedules to facilitate the effective achievement of call volumes and priority calls.
* Experience of or skills to implement recording systems, monitor actions and outcomes to measure and monitor performance of service delivery.
* Experience of or ability to monitor SLA to ensure service standards are maintained, including dealing with non‑conformance issues.
* Ability to demonstrate self‑motivation and effectively organise and prioritise own workload, using own initiative to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and timely.
* Must be flexible and prepared to work at other office locations according to the needs of the service, and work a rotational shift pattern including days, afternoons and evenings on a rota basis, and would be expected to work night shift patterns as required on short notice.
* Ability to demonstrate skills to improve services and performance for our tenants and leaseholders and demonstrate a highly customer‑focussed attitude.
