As a Production Support Operator, you'll play a hands-on role in preparing extrusion machinery, blending raw materials, and supporting operations across automated packing lines and our bakery. You'll be part of a close-knit team committed to quality, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare extrusion manufacturing machinery for daily production
* Accurately blend raw materials following batch specifications
* Support automated packing machine operations and troubleshoot minor issues
* Assist in bakery production tasks as needed
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
* Complete daily and weekly clean-downs of equipment and work areas
* Keep clear and accurate records in line with HACCP and company standards
* Collaborate with team leaders and colleagues to meet production targets
Training & Development

Working Conditions
* Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30–16:30 (paid lunch break; may vary during busy periods)
* Environment: Food production facility with extrusion, packing, and bakery areas
* Starting Salary: £12.60/hour (Real Living Wage)
* Benefits: 22 days paid holiday + 8 bank holidays, company sick pay scheme, employee assistance programme
