Are you seeking a new opportunity to join a talented, ambitious, and supportive team?
Take a look at the fantastic opening we have within our 3–16 school.
Thank you for your interest in the Assistant Headteacher post at Ysgol Bro Taf — the new 3–16 school based in Pontypridd. We opened in September 2024 following an £18.5 million investment in 21st-century learning facilities that reflect our commitment to excellence. Nearly a year on, these state-of-the-art spaces are being brought to life by a dedicated and innovative team, serving as the foundation for our ambition and high-quality provision for the community we serve.
We are building something exceptional—a school with a clear vision, a strong sense of purpose, and a vibrant all-through learning community. The opportunity to shape a new curriculum and culture, to innovate, and to make a lasting impact continues to inspire us. We are seeking colleagues who share this energy and ambition to join us on our next phase.
At Ysgol Bro Taf, we believe every child has brilliance. We are committed to offering rich, diverse learning experiences both inside and outside the classroom. Creating a happy, safe, and inclusive environment—where all pupils feel supported and recognized—is central to our work.
Our staff are at the heart of our success. They are empowered to think creatively, challenge norms, and do things differently for the benefit of our pupils. In return, Ysgol Bro Taf is an exciting place to work, where staff are valued, achievements celebrated, and professional growth actively supported.
We are dedicated to collaboration within the school and with the wider education community. We seek opportunities to learn from others and share our practices. High-quality professional development is fundamental to our work, and we invest in our staff to help them thrive and grow alongside our pupils.
