Overview

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development and delivery of a new regional hub-and-spoke model, supporting improved pathways for people with learning disabilities and/or autism who present with forensic risk. This is a non-recurrent, two-year project funded via the Reach Out Collaborative, with the contract commencing upon appointment. This post is available as a fixed-term contract or 20-month secondment opportunity for internal applicants.

Responsibilities

* To provide programme and project management support to the Project Manager and Project Lead, and to assist in the planning, management, co-ordination and delivery of projects within agreed timescales.
* Provide project support and co-ordination on key locality and service improvement work streams; promote and follow a consistent approach to project management across the service delivery areas.
* Development of programme and project documentation including risk and issue management registers, and early warning/escalation systems to help mitigate impact on programme/project management.
* Updating of programme/project wide documents as required including templates, procedures, master registers, dashboards and formal documentation such as Board Reports.
* Monitor progress against key deliverables including tracking registers; build strong working relationships with a range of stakeholders within the organisation and externally with partner organisations.
* Organise and facilitate project meetings, workshops and events including engagement and consultation forums; devise and coordinate effective ways of sharing information with key stakeholders including regular update reports.
* Collate and produce regular performance monitoring reports for key programme/project areas and, where required, organise performance monitoring meetings for programmes and projects.
* Exercise flexibility to constantly re-prioritise work in response to changing demands; use initiative to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and prioritise own workload.


Qualifications / Requirements

Experience in programme and project management support; ability to undertake data analysis and production of reports, as well as stakeholder communications. Evidence of ability to manage data and information linked to routine reporting cycles, and to support literature reviews and summary reports. Experience in facilitating meetings and coordinating information sharing with stakeholders is desirable.
