We are seeking a proactive and compassionateBand 5 Occupational Therapistto join our NHS client in Southall, Middlesex. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start on a short-term contract.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a varied caseload under supervision, delivering occupational therapy interventions to support patient recovery and independence.
* Conduct assessments of patients’ functional abilities and needs in daily living activities.
* Develop and implement individualised treatment plans in collaboration with patients and the multidisciplinary team.
* Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
* Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and service development initiatives.
* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with professional standards.
Qualifications & Experience
* BSc (Hons) or Diploma in Occupational Therapy
* HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
* Newly qualified or up to 2 years’ post-qualification experience
* Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
* Willingness to learn and develop within a supportive team environment
