About the role:
The Warehouse & Distribution Manager is responsible for the effective day-to-day running of our UK warehouse, covering Goods In, Stock Control, Picking, Despatch, and Transport Booking (for outbound shipments only). This role ensures that all distribution processes run smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
Working closely with the Global Distribution & Customs Compliance Manager, this position focuses on physical operations, ensuring accurate stock handling, timely despatch, and streamlined transport coordination. The role also plays a key part in supporting peak periods and delivering on key performance targets across distribution operations.
The role is based at our Avonmouth warehouse.

What you will be doing:
* Lead and manage all aspects of the UK warehouse operation, including:
> Goods In – efficient unloading, checking, and receipt of inbound goods
> Stock Control – accurate inventory management and auditing
> Picking – efficient and accurate order picking aligned to shipping schedules
> Despatch – timely preparation, packing, and labelling of goods for shipment
> Transport Booking – organisation and booking of outbound transport only
* Maintain a safe, organised, and compliant working environment aligned to health & safety standards
* Ensure stock integrity through regular checks, investigations, and systems reconciliation
* Drive continuous improvement in warehouse workflows and performance
* Collaborate with distribution and customs colleagues to ensure seamless goods movement across regions
* Manage, train, and develop a team of warehouse staff, ensuring engagement and operational excellence
* Monitor operational KPIs and report performance data to the Head of Distribution and Customs Compliance
* Oversee equipment maintenance and warehouse infrastructure, escalating needs where appropriate
* Support peak operational periods and project rollouts as required
About you:
* Must have an existing right of eligibility to work in the UK
* Proven experience managing warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution or retail environment
* Strong knowledge of stock control processes and warehouse systems
* Experience in outbound transport planning and booking with external carriers
* Excellent organisational skills with a hands-on, problem-solving approach
* Familiarity with health & safety and compliance requirements in a warehouse setting
* Strong leadership and team management capabilities
* Confidence using warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP platforms, and Microsoft Office
