Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Planning Consultant to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for analysing planning requirements, creating bespoke strategies, and navigating the complexities of the planning process on behalf of our clients. You will communicate with clients, provide planning advice, and offer consulting services to ensure successful planning permission.
We are seeking a permanent addition to our team but are happy to consider part-time or flexible hours, to suit the right candidate.

* A keen eye for detail.
The role requires a Chartered RTPI Town Planner accreditation (or working towards) and experience working either in private consultancy or as a Local Authority Planning Officer.
Responsibilities
* Manage and oversee planning projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
* Conduct data analysis to inform planning decisions and strategies.
* Prepare planning statements and documentation for stakeholders.
* Collaborate with team members and clients, facilitating effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

* Office based, hybrid or fully remote working can be considered as preferred by the candidate
* Hours: 50% to 100% FTE to be agreed to suit candidate.
* Renumeration: Negotiable (depending experience and hours)
Requirements
* A relevant degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning, or similar
* 1+ years professional experience.
* RTPI Chartered Membership (or working towards)
