About the Role
Sentinel is partnering with a globally recognised consultancy to recruit an Associate into a growing Life Sciences team, working on projects and programmes across the UK (primarily the South of England).
With a strong pipeline of work and several hires planned across the team, this is a great opportunity for an ambitious project management professional to join at Associate level. You will support the delivery of complex commissions and programmes, develop your client relationships, and begin to contribute to business development activity alongside senior team members.
The majority of existing clients sit within London, Cambridge, and Oxford, so the ideal candidate will be based in the South of England and able to travel to client sites across this region as required.
Responsibilities
* Supporting the delivery of complex projects and programmes across life sciences and health, including research facilities and new build schemes
* Assisting with bid writing and proposals, developing your work-winning skills alongside senior colleagues
* Building and maintaining relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners
* Planning and monitoring project resources, risks, and progress using appropriate tools and methodologies
* Producing clear and accurate reporting on project performance and outcomes
* Contributing to a collaborative and growing team, with the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility over time
Requirements
* Extensive experience in infrastructure/construction sectors (preferably with a background in consultancy)
* Solid knowledge of the life sciences, healthcare, research, higher education, or highly regulated industries
* A foundational understanding of project and programme management principles and methodologies
* Ambition to develop work-winning and client-facing skills
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Degree qualified in construction, engineering, or a related discipline
* Working towards or holding a professional membership (APM, RICS, CIOB or similar) is desirable
