About the school
Outwood Academy Valley has 1500 students aged 11 to 16 and shares a Post 16 Centre, which has 500 students, with Outwood Academy Portland. The Post 16 Centre is just a two-minute walk from the school. Both sites have excellent facilities providing a bright and motivational learning and working environment. We are a welcoming and supportive academy, with a relentless determination to provide the very best education for every child.

About the role
Outwood Academy Valley seeks an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join us in this rewarding role. You will be required to work closely with the Head of Department and members of the Science Team to provide outstanding support by having the ability to organise, deliver and develop technical services to the Science Department in order to support the teaching of a range of Science subjects.
We are looking for an individual who has high aspirations for students, who is committed and passionate about learning; who has the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of our students and share our single goal of 'Students First'. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, be organised and be able to remain calm in a busy environment. The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently whilst remaining a team player with a proactive approach to work.
