Job Role: Receptionist
Location: Folly Gardens Veterinary Clinic, Walton Cardiff branch
Salary: £11.56 per hour
Hours: Part-time, on average 24.17 hours per week
6 hour shifts between 8.00am – 7.30pm (Monday – Friday)
1:3 Saturday shifts
Flexibility will be required to work at all sites to provide cover during holidays.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist to join the fantastic team at Folly Gardens Veterinary Clinic!
Your role and responsibilities
The role of a Veterinary Receptionist is integral to creating the first impression of our practice. Clients and pets should be welcomed in a warm and professional manner.
The ideal candidate will have previous veterinary receptionist experience with BVRA qualifications. This is a job share role to ensure there is equal cover of early and late shifts (8 am - 2pm & 1.30 - 7.30pm)
Your duties will include:
* Welcoming clients both into the clinic and via telephone calls
* Responding to and managing group email inbox
* Answering client enquiries
* Supporting with stock management
* Assisting Vets with repeat prescription requests
* Cleaning
* Organisation duties including filing
* Cashing up

In 2012, we opened our large purpose-built facility at Walton Cardiff, expanding our expertise and services. Folly Gardens offer a full range of services for all small animals and exotics. Not only do we offer routine preventative healthcare and support for sick and injured patients, we also offer advanced procedures including orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeries, ophthalmology and diagnostic referrals as well as CT scanning.
