Your Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Front Office Team at The Fife Arms as Front Office Host!

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with similar experience levels and a passion for excellent hospitality, eager to develop their skills under the mentorship of our Front Office Manager and team.

As Front Office Host, you will be responsible for:

* Providing an exceptional guest experience from check-in to check-out
* Positively approaching sales opportunities to maximize revenue
* Making informed recommendations based on in-depth knowledge of the hotel’s rooms and services, using upselling techniques when appropriate
* Supporting a safe working environment by adhering to Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, Fire and Evacuation procedures, and Licensing Laws
* Taking ownership of your personal development to enhance your knowledge and ability to make informed recommendations
* Maintaining a presence at the front desk throughout the day
* Ensuring guest requests are fulfilled efficiently and effectively
* Keeping public areas clean, neat, and tidy
* Working cohesively with management to achieve shared goals
* Engaging with the Reception, Reservations, and Housekeeping teams

You’ll be surrounded by a creative team passionate about brilliant service, eager to learn and grow, and committed to going beyond for guests, colleagues, and the community.

Oursuccessful Front Office Host will have:

* Proven experience in a similar hospitality environment
* Experience with Opera and Symphony
* Enthusiasm and willingness to learn
* A thorough understanding of Health & Safety and COSHH regulations
* Initiative, emotional intelligence, and strong communication and organizational skills
* The ability to work under pressure
* A passion and ambition to deliver exceptional experiences
* Willingness to work to high standards demanded by a luxury establishment
