VANRATH are delighted to be partnered one of Northern Ireland's largest public sector employers who are recruiting for a Capital Accountant to join their team. This is initially a contract for a period of 12 months and can offer the successful candidate opportunities to secure a permanent contract.
The Capital Accountant will be reporting to the Head of Capital Accounting for the provision of capital accounting services including contributing to the capital budgeting processes, report writing, fixed asset accounting & support project boards in the management of projects.
About you
5. Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA)
6. At least 1 years relevant capital accounting experience, including preparation of capital budgets
7. Strong IT skills, particularly MS Excel
8. Ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
9. Available at short notice
What you'll do
10. Preparation of the Capital budgets, with subsequent budgetary control reporting
11. Maintain finance business partnering support for directorates
12. Management of Treasury function
13. Provision of professional financial advice and information
14. Manage performance across the team
