Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Data Steward to join us on an exciting project in Bristol. This will be a great opportunity to join a growing team, which offers a large potential for personal growth within a consultancy who works with multiple customers and sectors. The successful candidate will be the call for service to support the data management team on the ongoing topics such as: follow up on collection tool development, reporting and report automatization, transverse support for tags management and data filling.
The key responsibilities will be:
* For each engineering tool, provide support to the tool set-up, tests and roll-out;
* For each engineering tool, provide support to the engineering teams loading or editing data, enabling production tasks;
* Supervise the tools or functionalities supporting the data quality management and data maturity monitoring;
* Implement data quality controls, sanity checks;
* Provide regular reports and calculate appropriate performance indicators on the data quality and maturity;
* Monitor the use of the tools, raise alerts when needed and liaise with relevant entities to fix any issue which may occur.
* Identify and share with relevant entities the needs of evolutions of the tools collected from the engineering teams, together with the Engineering Tools Lead
Qualifications
• Previous knowledge and experience on design tools and databases, data
management and information systems.
• Relevant experience in one or several of the following areas:
- data transformation.
- control and verification of data quality and integrity.
- programming and dashboarding.
- using or supporting administration of a database or design tool.
• Good organisational skills.
• Ability to adapt and learn in a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural environment.
• Ability to set, achieve and maintain high standards regarding safety and quality.
• Engineering degree, Computer Science degree or equivalent.
• Knowledge in PowerBI.
• Knowledge in Python, R or SQL.
• Knowledge in AVEVA TAGS tools.
• Knowledge in Dassault 3Dx PLM tool
