We are seeking a Senior Compliance Business Partner for a 12-month fixed-term contract to join our banking clients Compliance team. This is a key leadership role where you'll provide expert regulatory guidance, support business innovation, and promote a strong compliance culture.
What You'll Be Doing:
✅ Acting as a trusted advisor on regulatory compliance, conduct risk, and regulatory change.
✅ Partnering with key stakeholders to embed compliance into business initiatives.
✅ Leading and mentoring compliance professionals to support their growth and performance.
✅ Providing technical regulatory interpretation, particularly on FCA requirements.
✅ Representing the Compliance function in strategic projects and regulatory discussions.
What We're Looking For:
🔹 Extensive experience in retail banking and a deep understanding of financial products and services.
🔹 7+ years in a compliance or conduct risk role within financial services.
🔹 Strong regulatory knowledge, including the FCA Handbook (MCOB, BCOBS, SYSC, PRIN, COCON) and Consumer Duty.
🔹 Leadership experience, with the ability to influence stakeholders and manage a team.
