We're hiring a Group Accountant to join our Group Finance function based in Edinburgh. Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career, at a global level, within a high-performing finance team in one of the world's leading fintech firms.
What you'll be doing:
You'll play a key part in our financial reporting processes while supporting the full breadth of the Group Finance team's responsibilities. This is a varied and dynamic role where you'll build your experience across month-end close, intepany accounting, and financial analysis.
Day to day, you'll:
1. Maintain accurate andplete general ledger records for Group entities
2. Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities
3. Reconcile and substantiate balance sheet accounts
4. Assist with monthly Board reporting, including variance and performance analysis
5. Monitor and review Group financial performance against budget
6. Contribute to consolidated financial statements and external audit deliverables
7. Calculate intepany recharges, reconcile balances, and supportpliance with transfer pricing policies
8. Liaise with Group Tax and other teams on intepany transactions
9. Assist in enhancing controls and ensuringpliance with IFRS and internal policies

What we're looking for:
This role is perfect for a newly qualified accountant or someone with equivalent experience ready to step into a dynamic,mercially focused finance role.
You'll thrive in this role if you have:
10. 3+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or audit
11. Strong Excel skills (intermediate to advanced)
12. Confidence managing your own workload and meeting deadlines
13. Excellent attention to detail andmunication skills
14. A proactive and analytical mindset with a drive for quality
Bonus points if you also have:
15. A professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, ICAS, ICAEW or equivalent) - or qualified by experience
16. Experience preparing statutory or management accounts
17. Working knowledge of IFRS and group consolidation
18. Experience with finance systems such as Nav, D365 or data tools like Qlik
