Job Description
3. Monitor stock levels and coordinate with internal teams to maintain availability.
4. Liaise with suppliers to negotiate terms, pricing, and lead times.
5. Assist with supplier performance reviews and maintain supplier relationships.
6. Conducting market research to identify new potential suppliers and products.
7. Evaluating and managing risks related to supply contracts.
8. Support cost control and budget adherence for procurement spend.
9. Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes.
10. Lead regular cost savings initiatives.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Buyer should have:
11. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
12. In-depth understanding of procurement processes and contract management.
13. Good working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems.
14. Experience managing large annual spends and leading cost savings initiatives.
