This role is ideal for someone committed to supporting students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs, helping them overcome challenges and succeed. Key Responsibilities of the Behaviour Mentor: Provide 1:1 and group support for students with behavioural and emotional needs. Implement behaviour management strategies and de-escalation techniques. Build positive relationships to encourage engagement and learning. Support teaching staff in maintaining a calm and inclusive classroom environment. Collaborate with parents, external professionals, and the wider school team to support student progress. Requirements for the Behaviour Mentor role: Previous experience as a Behaviour Mentor, SEMH Teaching Assistant, or similar role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and adaptable in challenging situations. Knowledge of behaviour management and safeguarding procedures.
