Stafflex Education is recruiting dynamic Cover Supervisors to work across primary schools in Huddersfield and the surrounding areas now through to the end of the academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Cover Supervisors, recent graduates, sports coaches, youth workers, or aspiring teachers who are looking to gain valuable experience in education.
?? Your Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you'll step into the classroom when teachers are absent. Maintaining order, managing student behaviour, and ensuring pupils stay engaged with pre-set lesson plans. While no planning or marking is required, your ability to lead a classroom and keep students focused is essential.
?? Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise whole classes across a variety of subjects during teacher absences
* Ensure students remain on task and follow the school's behaviour policies
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively and respond to any disruptions
* Report back to teaching staff on lesson progress and behaviour incidents
* Adapt confidently to different school settings and expectations
