Responsibilities
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing strategies to secure them successfully
* Build strong relationships with new and existing clients, understand their needs and provide tailored proposals, quotes, and pricing
* Maintain and grow relationships with current clients, aiming for a 10% annual growth rate on accounts through upselling and cross-selling
* Communicate effectively with clients, address concerns, resolve issues, and manage expectations
* Create and achieve sales forecasts, actively working towards meeting and exceeding targets
* Use bespoke internal software for quoting and pricing
Skills and Qualifications
* Proven track record in business development or sales roles, within the energy sector
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present tailored solutions
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple clients and priorities
* Familiarity with sales software and a proactive approach to learning bespoke systems
* Willingness to travel for client visits and industry events
