4. Coaching line managers, HR Operations and People Directors on the practical application of HR policy, process and employment legislation.
5. Attending and supporting complex disciplinary, grievance, capability and appeal hearings alongside line managers.
6. Building productive relationships with external legal advisers and Occupational Health, and ensuring services are fully utilised.
7. Upholding confidentiality and data protection at all times, and taking ownership of your continuous professional development.
What you’ll bring
8. Knowledge: Up‑to‑date employment law; sound understanding of HR processes; comfortable working with people metrics; strong customer‑service orientation.
9. Skills & experience: Excellent written and verbal communication; experience supporting absence and ER hearings and drafting outcome letters; a track record in driving improvements and change; high integrity and discretion.
10. CIPD qualified (or equivalent).
11. Bonus: Experience of TUPE delivery and consultation.
