GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher to join schools in the Conisbrough (DN12) area. This role provides the opportunity to deliver dynamic Geography lessons, nurture curiosity about the environment, and help pupils develop key analytical and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities as a Geography Teacher: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages. Support students’ academic progress and encourage critical thinking and enquiry-based learning. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes engagement and respect. Collaborate with colleagues to share ideas, resources, and teaching strategies. Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to drive improvement. Uphold safeguarding standards and promote pupil welfare at all times. Requirements for Geography Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Geography is desirable. Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills. Creativity and enthusiasm to make lessons engaging and accessible. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
