Position: Operations Support – Claims Analyst

What you’ll do:
To provide full analytical support Executive Board, Senior Management Team and Network operations as part of the Operations Support function to monitor, analyse and investigate customer claims for loss/damage of goods carried.
Key Role Responsibilities:
* Applying analytical skills to compile and analyse data, interpreting and presenting results for weekly/monthly reports.
* Through analysis identify trends of issues based on frequent customer claims and frequent site / driver claims
* Work closely with the RPS team to improve repatriation / onward forwarding of ‘missing’ items – reducing claims
* Work closely with the LP team to identify potential areas for deeper investigation into the site / driver processes
* Develop a close working relationship with Regional, Site and Operations managers to assist in understanding of the operation the reports and to provide adhoc support as required
* To carry out any other duties that may be reasonably required in the context of the role as requested by the Operations MI & Service Provider Manager and the Head of Operations Support.
* Undertake reporting / projects as part of the wider Operations Support team as necessary.
* To carry out site visits and reviews as required.

* It is essential that the job holder has a broad understanding and competence in the multi-disciplined processes that make up Parcel Operations.
* Having an investigative mind to review and challenge data would be an advantage
* Proven experience in obtaining data and producing reports.
* Conscientious and responsible
* A keen eye for detail and accuracy with a results driven approach
* Outstanding communication skills
* Excellent organizational skills
* Proficient in MS Office
* Understanding of overall network operation.
* Excellent Math/MS Excel abilities and working knowledge of data analysis/statistical methods
* A knowledge and understanding of Salesforce would be an advantage.
