As an Agentic AI Engineer at Kyndryl, you’ll design and build intelligent systems that think, reason and act – helping enterprises evolve from AI-enabled to truly AI-native.

What you’ll do
6. Design and build agentic systems that combine reasoning, planning and action across complex enterprise environments
7. Engineer modular components within Kyndryl’s Agentic AI Framework – covering LLM orchestration, vector retrieval, data connectors and multi-agent coordination
8. Build and deploy scalable solutions across multi-cloud environments using containerisation, microservices and event-driven design
9. Translate client challenges into engineered systems that reason, learn and adapt – improving efficiency, resilience and decision-making
10. Bridge AI and data architecture to ensure agents are grounded in solid data foundations, scalable pipelines and secure governance
11. Automate end-to-end with CI/CD pipelines, observability and responsible-AI guardrails
12. Collaborate and mentor across disciplines to accelerate delivery and strengthen technical excellence
13. Deliver measurable outcomes that move clients from AI-enabled experiments to production-grade AI-native enterprises
What you bring
14. Strong coding skills in Python and experience with agentic and LLM frameworks such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen or DSPy
15. Hands-on experience in data engineering and architecture – APIs, streaming, ETL or data mesh principles
16. Ability to work across multi-cloud and data platform ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake, Fabric, Elastic)
17. Familiarity with vector databases, knowledge graphs or temporal data models Experience with MLOps or AIOps pipelines, versioning and monitoring
18. Understanding of LLM orchestration, RAG pipelines, tool-use and agent frameworks
19. Systems-level curiosity and a self-starter mindset – you take ownership, build iteratively and deliver with pace and rigour

Required Skills and Experience
23. Degree or equivalent practical experience in computer science, data engineering, AI or a related technical field
24. Proven hands-on experience in Agentic AI or GenAI engineering including designing, building and deploying frameworks and orchestration systems, not just using APIs
25. Strong programming fluency in Phyton
26. Solid understanding of data and software architecture patterns such as microservices, message brokers, streaming and event driven design
27. Demonstrated ability to deliver production grade AI solutions that integrate data pipelines, models and orchestration logic across multi-cloud or hybrid environments
Plus, you bring
28. Experience collaborating with high-trust, low hierarchy engineering teams where autonomy and deliver pace matter
29. Ability to move across disciplines – data architecture, engineering and AI integration – depending on project needs
30. Experience contributing to open source or shared codebases or shaping internal reusable Data, ML and AI frameworks
31. Strong problem-solving mindset and capacity to translate client requirements into engineered, scalable systems
Preferred Skills and Experience
32. Certifications across AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
33. Proven experience with data and AI platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Fabric or Elastic
34. Prior involvement in digital transformation or AI native product development within enterprise settings
35. Experience with graph theory, knowledge representation or distributed systems
36. Contributions to technical or academic communities such as open-source authorship, whitepapers, conference presentations
