Membership & Recruiting Manager
Asbecruit Ltd – Stowmarket, Suffolk
Part Time | 16 Hours Per Week | 10am - 2pm
Asbecruit is a specialist recruitment platform dedicated exclusively to the asbestos industry. Established over five years ago, we provide a trusted route for asbestos removal contractors, consultancies and associated businesses across the UK, as well as clients in Australia, New Zealand and the USA, to advertise and promote their vacancies directly to industry professionals.
We are now expanding our offering to include a recruiting service alongside our established membership platform and are looking for a Membership & Recruiting Manager to take ownership of the business on a day to day basis.
The role involves growing and managing memberships, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and proactively bringing new companies onto the platform. Alongside this, the company has plans to expand its offerings and you will help develop and deliver a professional recruiting service within the sector, identifying and engaging high quality candidates for permanent opportunities when required. This is not a cold hard selling role, it is all about quality and not quantity.
You will be confident speaking with directors, senior managers and HR professionals and able to explain clearly how the platform works and the value it offers. The position requires someone organised, commercially aware and proactive, who is comfortable managing information, following up leads, running mailshots, maintaining social media activity and producing basic marketing content where necessary.
Ideally you will have experience in permanent recruitment, as we are expanding our services to include headhunting within the asbestos sector.
This is a varied role offering genuine autonomy. You will be the only person operating Asbecruit day to day (with support from the Directors), with the freedom to manage and grow the business within clear commercial expectations. Success will be measured by active memberships, client engagement and the development of permanent placement revenue.
The role is office based in Stowmarket, working Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (days can be flexible) from 10am to 2pm, totalling 16 hours per week. We offer a competitive salary, flexible working, pension contributions, private healthcare, parking and the opportunity to take real ownership of a specialist and established brand.
If you are confident on the phone, organised, commercially minded and interested in building something within a niche industry, we would like to hear from you
