Job title: Senior Electronics Design Engineer
Location: Glasgow, Scotland

Due to ongoing success and development, World Class engineering organization based in Glasgow (Scotland) who are a Global market leaders in sectors for Electronics, Industrial, Instrumentation and many more are now actively seeking to hire for 2 Senior Electronics Design Engineers to join the organisation on a permanent basis. This role is available because of additional work and investment in the coming years for the Glasgow business office and the R&D road map. This Electronics Design Engineering role is ideal for a Senior Electronics Design Engineers or a mid-level Electronics Design Engineer who is looking for career progression, is ready and able to demonstrate their motivations to move to the senior position.
Work arrangement, relocation & sponsorship assistance:
3-4 days working onsite and rest WFH is available. Relocation assistance & Sponsorship is also provided.
The salary on offer for the successful Senior Electronics Design Engineer is £40,000-£55,000 per annum.
Key Skills:
* 3-5+ years industry experience
* Experience in the full product design lifecycle from concept
* Experience of board level design and mixed signal electronics
* Experience in microcontroller, mixed analogue and digital circuit designs
* Practical experience in Schematics Capture, Layout and PCB layout knowledge
* Experience with Altium or other PCB design tools.
* Network interfaces – SPI, I2C, USB, UART, RS232/485
* Good understanding of Design for test (DFT) & Design Manufacturing (DFM)
* Experience of product compliance & Safety – EMC, LVD, CE Marking
* Debugging, simulation and validation of electronic and system designs
* Experience of creating and maintaining technical documentation
* Electrical / electronic engineering experience in an industrial environment
* Good communication and team work skills
Nice to have skills:
* Experience with PID controlled systems
* Embedded C
* Microcontrollers – STM32, ARM Cortex Processors
* Product lifecycle management (PLM) software
* Agile Development Experience - SAP, Oracle
* Experience with Toradex based embedded computing modules
* Test equipment development to support production and manufacturing
* Experience of mentoring and coaching junior engineers
