Do you want to be part of a team shaping the Cloud best practices and ways of working for one of the fastest scaling Tech consultancies in Leeds ?
We’re looking for a Senior & Lead Cloud Engineer to join their team. We want someone who’s ready to take charge, lead from the front, and build scalable, secure cloud solutions using AWS, Azure, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
This is all about being a consultant, leading and adopting Cloud best practices as this consultancy shape the Cloud function within the business!
As either a Senior or Lead Engineer, you’ll be doing more than just writing code. You’ll be part of designing cloud-native infrastructures, driving best practices, and mentoring teams to level up.
You’ll be hands on with Terraform to automate everything, optimise Kubernetes deployments, and lead conversations with stakeholders to make sure every cloud decision makes an impact.
🌟 What You’ll Be Doing:
* Working on major cloud projects, from the design and architecture to delivery, making sure everything is built right.
* Use Terraform to automate and scale the infrastructure, ensuring reliable and repeatable deployments.
* Get hands-on with Kubernetes, ECS, and Cloudflare to fine-tune orchestration, security, and performance.
* Set up observability practices, so we can monitor, track, and optimise everything, from logging to metrics.
* Act as a trusted consultant with clients, making the right technical decisions, building strong relationships, and shaping cloud strategies.
🧠 What You’ll Bring:
* Extensive background in AWS and Azure, and a solid understanding of building cloud-native, scalable architectures.
* Deep expertise in Terraform building robust infrastructure automation for efficient deployments.
* Experience with Kubernetes and Docker, and a solid grasp of container orchestration and best practices.
* A strong focus on cloud security, zero trust, and IAM to build secure, resilient solutions.
* Familiarity with tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana for observability and monitoring.
* Knowledge of backend languages for collaboration with other teams
