EHC Coordinator Local Authority – South East England £280 per day Hybrid working (1–2 days per week in the office) We are currently working with a local authority in the South East of England who are seeking an experienced EHC Coordinator to support their SEND service. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of Education, Health and Care (EHC) needs assessments, ensuring the process is completed in line with statutory timescales and the SEND Code of Practice. Key responsibilities include: Coordinating the EHC needs assessment process from request through to final plan Acting as the main point of contact for children, young people, families, and professionals Gathering and coordinating advice from education, health and social care partners Drafting and issuing high-quality EHC Plans Ensuring compliance with statutory duties and local authority procedures Working collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies Requirements: Proven experience working as an EHC Coordinator / SEND Case Officer within a local authority Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and the SEND Code of Practice Ability to manage a busy caseload and work to tight deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills Why work through Pertemps?
