Neurological Occupational Therapist – Team Leader
We require a full‑time neurological occupational therapist to lead our occupational therapy services in Liverpool. The role will involve both a clinical caseload and management duties.
The clinical aspect of the role will consist of overseeing occupational therapy services within an inpatient acquired brain injury unit and within the community. The successful candidate will work with our team of physiotherapists and speech therapists to provide the highest standard of therapy.
The management aspect of the role consists of leading the occupational therapy team and managing staff, conducting interviews, inducting staff, appraising staff, and developing services. The role will also involve regular meetings with practice directors and NHS/service commissioners.

Occupational Therapy Assistant – Part Time
Liverpool OT are looking for a part‑time Occupational Therapy assistant with an interest in neurological rehabilitation. We are looking for an enthusiastic therapist to join our neurological team to assist with patients who are recovering from neurological trauma. Treatment will be in clinic and in the community environment.
The hours available are between 12 and 40 hours per week.
This role will include the following duties:
* Supporting occupational therapists and neurological physiotherapists in providing treatment for patients with neurological conditions
* Conducting exercise programmes with patients under the guidance and supervision of other therapists
* Interacting with healthcare professionals
* Research into neurological conditions
We require an Occupational Therapy assistant who is:
* A recent graduate of a degree in Occupational Therapy or is currently completing a degree in Occupational Therapy
* Experienced in working with people who have a disability
* Familiar with the practice of Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy
* Able to demonstrate excellent communication and written skills
* Able to organise work efficiently
* Reliable and committed
* Able to motivate patients when conducting treatment
* Able to work independently as well as part of a team
The successful candidate should also own their own car as the role will involve some travelling.
Associate Paediatric Occupational Therapists
Liverpool OT are looking for experienced paediatric Occupational Therapists to join our team on an associate basis. We can offer a varied caseload including work in clinic, school and community settings. The position also involves providing detailed assessment and recommendation reports as well as ongoing treatment.
We are looking for Occupational Therapists who are:
* At least 3 years qualified
* Experience in community, school and clinic settings
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Able to work independently as well as an effective team member
* Enthusiastic and able to motivate patients and their families to maximise their potential
* Able to manage patients with complex needs
* Experienced in dyspraxia assessment and sensory integration techniques
* Excellent administration and IT skills
* Experience with children with physical difficulties, sensory or coordination problems an advantage
Junior Occupational Therapist
Liverpool OT are looking for a junior neurological Occupational Therapist to join our team. We can offer a varied caseload including in‑patient work within an acquired brain injury rehabilitation unit as well as clinic and community settings. Full and part‑time positions are available. The position also involves providing detailed assessment and recommendation reports as well as ongoing treatment.
We are looking for Occupational Therapists who are:
* Ideally 12 months qualified
* Passionate about neurological rehabilitation
* Experience in community, in‑patient and clinic settings
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Able to work independently as well as an effective team member
* Enthusiastic and able to motivate patients to maximise their potential
* Able to manage patients with complex needs including cognitive and behavioural difficulties
* Knowledge of cognitive assessments and recommending appropriate interventions
* Excellent administration and IT skills
